Ellen Paul, Library Director
Ellen is responsible for all aspects of the library administration. Before working at the East Hampton Public Library, Ellen worked for libraries in California, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.
April Hannon, Children’s Librarian
April is responsible for all aspects of the children’s room including service to children and families, collection development, programming and outreach. Previously, April was a fourth grade teacher and worked for libraries in Ashford, CT and Narragansett, RI.
Sam Bolton, Head of Circulation and Technical Services
Sam is responsible for all aspects of patron and materials management including borrowing, cataloging and processing. Sam also hosts our monthly Dungeons and Dragons group for teenagers. Previously, Sam worked for the Richmond Memorial Library in Marlborough and the Smith Library at Eastern CT State University.
Keri is one of our newest public service associates. In addition to serving patrons at the circulation desk, she also plans most of our adult programs including our new twice monthly book group.
Fran, Public Service Associate
In addition to serving patrons at the circulation desk, Fran leads manages our weekly deposit, our newspapers and assists with processing book donations.
Sheryl, Public Service Associate
In addition to serving patrons at the circulation desk and in the children’s room, Sheryl organizes many of our programs for teenagers. She works with local partners and the schools to ensure relevant, educational and fun programming for this under-served age group.
Erica, Public Service Associate
Erica serves patrons in the children’s room and at the circulation desk. She’s a wizard designing bulletin boards, excellent at processing paperbacks and materials of all kinds and loves to help the children’s department with program preparation and management.
Nicole is one of our newest public service associates. In addition to serving patrons at our circulation desk and in the children’s room, she plans most of our outreach Story Kits and Early Literacy Take Home Activities for our local preschools.
Vanessa, Public Service Associate
Vanessa serves patrons in the children’s room and at the circulation desk. She contributes programming for children of all ages including Lego Club, STEM Activities and Animal Adventures. She also assists with collection development and management.
Jondahl, Public Service Associate
Jondahl serves patrons in the children’s room and at the circulation desk. Jondahl lead two weekly storytimes: Baby Rhyme Time and Little Learners and assists with the development of new children’s services and programs.
Rachel, Public Service Associate
In addition to serving patrons at the circulation desk, Rachel manages our inter-Library Loan program, book club services and periodicals. She also takes the lead in processing new materials for the shelf.
Chris shelves all of our returned materials in both the adult and children’s library. When there is extra time he also helps with special projects.
